PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing cushioning member which has high impact absorbent performance and whose components are fewer. SOLUTION: The packing cushioning members (20 and 30) accommodated in a packing box 40 with a precision instrument 10 to be packed include holding sections (21 and 31) for holding the precision instrument 10, first cushioning sections (22 and 32) disposed between the holding sections (21 and 31) and the first face (A1) of the packing box 40, or the first face (A1) of a member disposed in the packing box, and second cushioning sections (23 and 33) disposed between the holding sections (21 and 31) and the second face (A2) of the packing box 40 which crosses the first face (A1), or the second face (A2) of a contact member disposed in the packing box.
