PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storable sliding chair, when the sliding chair stored in a rack is pulled out, automatically extracting/retracting leg parts of a bench in a rack with legs and to provide its opening/closing method. SOLUTION: This storable sliding chair 4 openably/closably stored in the lower part of a rack 1 and its opening/closing method are so formed that one end of a swinging rod 9 is loosely inserted in a slider pin 7 fixed to a bar 8 provided in each of the both side boards 6, one end of a connecting rod 12 is pivoted to an intermediate connecting shaft 11 of the swinging rod journaled in the other end, one end of a stay 14 is pivoted to the lower end of a triangle arm 13 whose upper end is pivoted to the other end of the rod, and a lower side of the leg part 15 whose upper end is journaled to a door 16 of the sliding chair is pivoted to the other end of the stay 14.
