<p>The invention relates to a spring-type carcass for a mattress. Said carcass comprises a support sheet (5) made from a flexible or semi-rigid material on at leas t one face of which a number of spring bodies (6, 6') are fixed. Said spring bodies (6, 6') each comprise a base (8, 8'), arranged at the level of a housing opening (5'), provided in said support sheet (5), said base (8, 8') cooperating with a support element (8, 8') applied to the other face of the support sheet (5), by means of corresponding fixing means. The corresponding fixing means are preferably of the detachable type. Furthermore, the spring bodies (6, 6') are arranged in pairs on the two faces of the support sheet (5), the base (8, 8'), of one of the spring bodies (6, 6') of the pair, constituting the support element for the other spring body (6, 6') of the same pair.</p> |
