<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance durability of an automatic opening/closing apparatus for a vehicle by increasing a fixing strength of a field unit with a worm wheel. <P>SOLUTION: An electromagnetic clutch is provided between a speed reducing mechanism which is provided in a driving unit, and an output shaft which is connected to a sliding door. The electromagnetic clutch is equipped with the field unit 41 which is to be fixed to the inside of the worm wheel 35, and an armature which is to be attached to the output shaft in an axially movable manner. The field unit 41 has a structure wherein a clutch coil 44 wound around a coil bobbin 43 is fixed to a clutch yoke 42. The clutch yoke 42 is provided with three leg parts 61 which pass through a through-hole 63 of the worm wheel 35, and a retaining ring 62 is attached to leading ends of the leg parts 61. This makes the leading ends of the legs 61 locked to the worm wheel 35 by the retaining ring 62, so that the field unit 41 is fixed to the worm wheel 35. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
