<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent exhaustion of a battery; and to stably stop a sliding door. <P>SOLUTION: When the sliding door is stopped in the middle, after operating up to a specified speed in any direction of opening and closing after prescribed time passes, the sliding door is continuously moved by inertia by disconnection of a clutch, and after discriminating an inclined state by calculating a rate of change of a speed at that time, the sliding door is automatically opened and closed in its discriminated inclined downward direction. Since the sliding door can be positioned in a stable state of the dead weight falling directional lowest position by moving the sliding door in the dead weight falling direction by determining an inclined stopping state by the inertial movement of the sliding door, the sliding door can be stably stopped even if the clutch is put in a disconnected state in the lowest position, and an exciting current continuously flows, and the exhaustion of the battery can be prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
