PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an application-data base linking method for appropriately linking data between applications or between the application and a data base. SOLUTION: Applications present on a plurality of computers connected to the Internet and data bases present in a plurality of data servers connected to the Internet are linked by using XML and execute tagging by using a reference tag set which is common to a tag included in input/output data of the application and a tag included the data on the data server that become the same tag for the same kind of the data.
