OPTICAL CONNECTOR DEVICE, FIBER-SIDE OPTICAL CONNECTOR AND ELEMENT-SIDE OPTICAL CONNECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize an optical connector. SOLUTION: The fiber-side optical connector 20 is provided with a ferrule section 22 which is used to hold a tip section of an optical fiber cable 10 and a lock section 26. An element side optical connector 30 is provided with an element storage section 31 which is used to store and hold an optical element 15, a sleeve section 34 to which the ferrule section 22 is inserted and held and a section to be locked 36 which is formed on the outer periphery of the sleeve section 34. The connecting condition of the both connectors 20 and 30 is maintained by the engagement of the lock section 26 and the section to be locked 36. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
