PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To address the problems such that dry garbage stirred up in circulating hot air for drying garbage blocks branched pipes so as to decrease emissions and to worsen the dry efficiency or to induce an abnormal increase in the temperature of a catalytic deodorizing apparatus so as to lower the deodorization ability of the catalytic deodorizing apparatus. SOLUTION: The garbage disposer is provided with a disposer body case 1 of the garbage disposer, a garbage container 4 for drying garbage, a heat means 14 for heating garbage, an air-blowing means 15 for sending hot air that is heated by the heat means 14 to the garbage container 4, and a catalytic deodorizing apparatus 17 for deodorizing malodor generated from the garbage container 4. The garbage disposer is composed so that a hot air circulation airflow channel case 12 is provided with the above heat means 14 and the air-blowing means 15, and within the hot air circulation airflow channel case 12, a hot air branching port 16 is provided for dividing hot airflow into an airflow channel for hot air circulating for drying garbage and a discharging airflow channel for discharging air through the catalytic deodorizing apparatus 17 to the outside of the disposer body case 1, and a projection 12j is provided in the vicinity of the hot air branching port 16.
