An improved high frequency filter of coaxial construction, comprises one or more resonators (R) with the following features: an electrically-conducting inner line embodied as an inner line tube (1), an electrically-conducting outer line (2), an electrically-conducting outer line (2), an electrically-conducting ground (3), which connects the inner line and the outer line (2) electrically together, a cover (5) covering the high-frequency filter relative to the ground (3) with an inner side (5a) and outer side (5b), whereby the inner side (5a) is directed towards a free end (la) on the inner line tube (l), a dielectric layer (6) with dielectric constant <r greater than 2 is arranged between the outer side (5a) of the cover (5) and the free end (la) of the inner line tube (1) and the radial extent of the dielectric layer (6) essentially covers the cross-section of the inner line tube (1) at the free end (la) thereof. |
