The present invention relates to polysaccharide conjugates that comprise: a polysaccharide having a minimum of seven saccharides attached to one or more molecules having an aldehyde or a ketone group through a direct covalent bond or covalently via a bifunctional linker in a manner that keeps the aldehyde or ketone group intact. The conjugates are useful as immuno-stimulants and adjuvants.
