The mounting plate (10) has flanges at its sides (12,13) and at its rear edge (14). Screws may fasten the rear edge to the wall. The plate is generally flat with stiffening bulges or depressions (16) near the flange at the rear. Grooves (18) in the front edge accommodate pipe end fittings (20-24) for water and gas connections. The safety plate (50) holding the pipe fittings in the grooves in the mounting plate has flanges at the front to accommodate mounting screws (51). It has projections with grooves shaped to hold the pipe end fittings in place.
