A workstation for processing a workpiece, the workstation comprising a housing and a plurality of substations within the housing 20, each substation having a working volume within which a workpiece is processable, the housing 20 having an access region and an enclosed volume, the substations being moveable within and relative to the housing 20 so as to move the substations into the enclosed volume. There may be venting (19, Figure 2) and waste removal (5, Figure 2) mechanisms, workpiece gripping mechanisms and a sliding door 40.
