The intercommunicating bridge (1) of a bellows transition between two vehicles interconnected by a joint (30) has two overlapping base plates (2,3) which are movable relative to one another. The joint comprises a support (20) installed on one vehicle section, whereby the lower base plate (2) is seated to slide on the joint support and the upper base plate (3) is seated on the lower base plate in the region of the joint support. The upper and/or the lower base plate is flexible and wear resistant.
