Disclosed herein is a separation-preventing device of a manhole cover, which includes: a manhole body buried in the ground and having a hollow portion formed therein; a height-variable ring mounted on the manhole body and having a retaining step formed on the inner peripheral surface thereof; a manhole cover seated inside the height- variable ring; and a separation-preventing part for fixing the manhole cover, wherein the separation-preventing part includes: a support member disposed on the height- variable ring; and a fixing member connected to the support member for fixing the top surface of the manhole cover. When heavy and large-sized trucks continuously pass the top surface of the manhole cover, the present invention can minimize movement of the manhole cover, thereby preventing cracks of the asphalt concrete road around the manhole buried in the ground. |
