The zone has induction coils (2) placed regularly under a non magnetic support plate (12) and connected to independent generators for producing magnetic field on whole cooking surface. The induction coils are regrouped by a module (1) and fixed on a support. The support has a concave central zone whose maximal radius of curvature is equal to an outer radius of an end of the module.
