<p>The method for the optimization of services in a radio communications network comprising base stations intended to establish radio links via dedicated or shared channel with mobile stations comprises the steps of a) measuring a radio link parameter on the basis of a signal transmitted between at least one base station and a mobile station, b) analyzing said radio link parameter to determine whether it meets a predefined criterion, and establishing a radio link between the base station and the mobile station via dedicated channel if the predefined criterion is met, and, c) if the predefined criterion is not met, estimating the radial speed of the mobile station with regard to the base station, and deciding whether to establish a radio link between the base station and the mobile station via dedicated channel or shared channel, the decision being based on whether the estimated radial speed is below, between or above a set of predetermined speed thresholds. <IMAGE></p> |
