A zeolite crystalline solid, designated IM-9, having an X ray diffraction diagram according to FIG. 1 , has a chemical composition, expressed as the anhydrous base, in terms of moles of oxides, in accordance with the formula XO<SUB>2</SUB>: mYO<SUB>2</SUB>: pZ<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB>: qR<SUB>2/n</SUB>O: sF, in which R represents one or more cation(s) with valency n, X represents one or more tetravalent element(s) other than germanium, Y represents germanium, Z represents at least one trivalent element and F is fluorine. The solid is useable, for example as an adsorbent or catalyst.
