An information send creates a transmission packet on a predetermined unit time basis and sends the packet with a preamble inserted, and an information receiver returns an ACK or NACK packet with a preamble inserted. Form the time when the NACK is received to the time when the next ACK is received, a hidden terminal avoids a collision after by recognizing that the transmission line is used for data retransmission. If an information send specified by a beacon signal has transmission data, the hidden terminal recognizes that the transmission line will be used until the time when the next ACK is received. For example, in the ultra wideband communication system, access control is preferably performed while avoiding a communication collision and, at the same time, retransmission control is performed.
