FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves holding child body trunk in horizontal position with the face kept down. The trunk is turned 90° clockwise and counter-clockwise. When in norm, the head turns in the opposite direction with its original face down position being unchanged. Injured atlanto-occipital or atlanto-axial articulation being the case, rotation towards articulation dislocation does not take place and the head rotates with the trunk. ^ EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in determining cervical vertebral column segment state; accelerated examination procedure.
