FIELD: methods of water cleaning. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cleaning of water contaminated by toxic substances using water plants and it can be used at cleaning household, municipal and industrial sewage in cleaning works, water in small rivers, lakes and other water reservoirs. When hyacinth is to be used for cleaning of water, first toxicant is determined which limits process of cleaning and then, prior to planting water hyacinth into water to be cleaned, it is kept in solution of toxicant limiting process of cleaning which is added in small amounts with addition of plant growth stimulant and/or oxiding catalyst of limiting toxicant. Sewage water is cleaned at rest, in motion or bubbling with water steam and/or air at temperature from 2 to 50°C. Invention provides two-fold increase of tolerable level of concentration of toxicants in water to be cleaned. ^ EFFECT: provision of survivability of water hyacinth in wider range of water temperatures. ^ 6 ex |
