The invention relates to the use of organo-silicon compounds of general formula RxSi(OH)4-x (I), wherein R and x have the meaning defined in the description of said compounds which are stabilised by an organic compound having one or several alcohol, phenol, acid, amine or aminoacid functions for constraining the organisation of protein and glycoprotein fibres of the extracellular matrix of connective damaged tissues.
