<p>A compression apparatus (10) is provided that includes a sleeve (12) configured for disposal about a limb. The sleeve includes a first portion (1 4) defining a first expandable chamber (16) and a second portion (18) defining a second expandable chamber (20) and a third expandable chamber (22). The seco nd portion includes a connector (64) in fluid communication with a pressurized fluid source and the chambers thereby facilitating fluid communication betwe en the pressurized fluid source and the chambers. The first portion is removabl e from the second portion. The first portion may be connected to the second portion via a perforated attachment. The sleeve may define at least one ventilation opening (46, 50). The connector can communicate with the chamber s via a tubular pathway. The sleeve may be convertible from a length extending from below a knee to above the knee, to a length extending solely below the knee.</p> |
