It is possible to effectively allocate a shared module between home electric appliances connected to a home network. A home server (20) controls a plurality of client devices (30) connected via the home network (1). At least one of the client devices (30) and the home server (20) includes a plurality of modules that can be lent as lend-able hardware resources performing a process for the client device (30) or the home server (20); a communication processing unit (240) for receiving a use request for a hardware resource from the client device (30) sent via the home network (1); and a lend-able module management unit (250) for selecting one of the rend-able modules (251, 351) according to the received use request and the power consumptions of the lend-able modules (251, 351) and deciding the selected rend-able module as the module to be lent.
