The sensor has a body including a thread (3) that is screwed on any metallic or plastic fixation clamp. A threaded part of the body is terminated by a metal pellet (5) which contacts with a pipe when the sensor is installed on the pipe. A sensor unit (4) is connected to an end of the threaded part and contacts with the metal pellet, such that thermal connection between the pipe and the metal pellet is ensured.
