PHENOL RESIN MOLDING MATERIAL AND PULLEY MOLDED WITH THE MOLDING MATERIAL

A phenol resin molding material which comprises a resol type phenol resin and, per 100 parts by mass thereof as main components, 40 to 100 parts by mass of an inorganic fiber, 30 to 90 parts by mass of a natural silica powder having been treated with a coupling agent and having an average particle diameter of 0.5 to 15 mum, and 1 to 15 parts by mass of a rubber component. In the molding material, the inorganic fiber can contain a glass fiber in an amount of 50 mass % or more, and the natural silica powder may be a silica in a crushed form. Moldings produced from the above resin molding material include a pulley made of a resin.
