The device has a dioptric unit whose rear side (105) is divided into angular sectors (7), where each sector is limited towards back side by an elementary rotational surface. The surface has a meridian constituted by a profile (9) composed of a curved or straight portion on which light rays of a light source are reflected towards front of the device. The profile assures total reflection of the light rays emitted from the source. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle comprising a lighting and/or signaling device.
