A steam cooker, comprising a steam heating device (50) having a tray type case (51). The tray type case further comprises a flat surface-shaped recessed part (51a) into which steam from a steam generator flows from steam supply ports (95A), (95B), and (95C) formed in a first side wall (91) and which is formed approximately symmetrical with respect to the centerline (L) of the flow of the steam flowing from the steam supply ports (95A), (95B), and (95C) therein. First and second steam heaters (52) and (53) are disposed in the recessed part (51a) of the tray type case (51) so that the shape thereof in plan view is formed approximately symmetrical with respect to the centerline (L). A spiral heat radiating fin (56) with a fin pitch of 10 mm or shorter is wound around the first steam heater (52). The tray type case (51) is disposed at the steam outlet of the ceiling panel of a heating chamber with the opening of the recessed part (51a) facing downward.
