FLUID DISPENSER WITH PASSIVE PRESSURIZATION

A fluid dispenser (10) from which may be dispensed upon passive pressurization of a fluid reservoir (18) therein. Upon exposing a nib (60) of the fluid dispenser to the surroundings, either by disengagement of a cap (12) or extension or contraction of the fluid dispenser, the fluid reservoir (18) is pressurized without requiring the operator to exert manual force on the walls of the fluid dispenser. In certain embodiments, the rate of flow initiated passively may be increased by the operator actively engaging an interface, which increases the pressure within the fluid reservoir.
