The invention relates to a coated, coextruded, biaxially oriented polyolefin film comprising at least one base layer B consisting of polyolefins and comprising a top layer Z consisting of maleic anhydride- modified polyolefins. A coating consisting of a primer is applied to the surface of the top layer Z whereby forming the primer layer P. An inorganic coating consisting of lithium-potassium-polysilicates is applied to the surface of said primer layer P whereby forming a polysilicate layer. The film has a very good oxygen barrier.
