PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a VoIP digital switching device with high performance wherein deterioration in voice quality is small. SOLUTION: The digital switching device includes: a subscriber interface circuit connected to at least one telephone set; a voice processing section for applying protocol conversion to a speech voice signal from a telephone set received via the subscriber interface circuit to produce a voice packet signal; an address information attaching section for attaching address information denoting a transmission destination of the speech voice signal to the voice packet signal to generate a transmission voice packet signal; a call control section for applying call control processing to the transmission voice packet signal to produce call control information; a first interface circuit for transmitting the transmission voice packet signal to an external IP network via an intranet; and a second interface circuit for transmitting the call control information with respect to the transmission voice packet signal to the external IP network via a telephone network.
