PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent moment load from being generated in an outer ring 7c and a pulley of synthetic resin provided around the outer ring 7c and to sufficiently prevent a creep from occurring between the outer ring 7c and the pulley. SOLUTION: In the pulley device, two spiral inclined grooves 17a, 17b are formed in an outer peripheral surface of the outer ring 7c. By controlling the positions of starting points a<SB>1</SB>, b<SB>1</SB>and end points a<SB>2</SB>, b<SB>2</SB>of the inclined grooves 17a, 17b, the number of laying of the grooves 17a, 17b in the axial direction is made the same over the whole periphery of the outer ring.
