PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a futon drying system made of a new structure capable of quick and economical drying and finishing by forcibly supplying hot air, and a new futon drying method using the system. SOLUTION: The futon drying system 1 is configured by forming a blowing space 22 below the floor surface 21 of a drying chamber 2, arranging a saddling horse 9 to be saddled with a futon F and arranging a blower 74 capable of forcibly supplying external air to the blowing space 22 above strip vents 4 arranged and opened on the floor surface 21 and providing a heat exchanger 3 in combination midway in the blowing space.
