PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jamming detecting device capable of previously predicting the jamming at the completion time of processing, and its method. SOLUTION: Time Tt derived by subtracting an actual measuring time from the processing start of n-th processing table to the completion of the n-1-th processing from the conveyance cycle time of a workpiece, and time Tw derived by subtracting an actual measuring time from the conveyance start at n-2-th table to the processing completion of the n-1-th table from the conveyance cycle time of the workpiece are found.
