PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an adhesive sheet to be discharged under a stable state while restricting an adhesion of the adhesive material and its influence minimum at a thermal activation device comprising a discharging mechanism for forcedly pulling out an adhesive sheet from a thermal head after its thermal activation and transporting it. SOLUTION: This thermal activation device comprises a feed roller 56 arranged at a downstream stage of a thermal head 51 and a platen roller 52 so as to feed a heat-sensitive adhesive sheet 21 over them after its thermal activation and a driving means for rotationally driving the feed roller 56, wherein a side where the heat-sensitive adhesive sheet 21 at the feed roller 56 passes is spaced apart wider than a thickness of the adhesive sheet 21, and a rotational driving of the feed roller 56 causes a driving force to be transmitted from its lower surface to the heat-sensitive adhesive sheet 21 and then the heat-sensitive adhesive sheet 21 to be discharged out of the device. The feed roller 56 is constituted such that a part of the outer circumference of the roller is offset by 0.3 mm or more from a reference plane H formed by extending the head plane of the thermal head 51 to the side where the platen roller 52 is positioned.
