PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately acquire a side slip angle and a road surfaceμ. SOLUTION: In the contact state acquiring device, a strain sensor detects an actual length variation amount of a part continuing to a peripheral direction in a steady state of a tire, and the side slip angleβis acquired based on the actual length variation amountδ, a tire grounding length L, and a ratioγof an adhesive region with respect to a slip region estimated based on the road surfaceμand a turning state. Thereby, actual deformation of the tire is detected, and the side slip angle is acquired based on the detected strain. Therefore, the side slip angle can be accurately acquired.
