PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed matter excellent in abrasion resistance in performing mat-like printing expression on the outer surface of a high grade paper container using paper as a main material, not closing a mat-like feeling at the time of a delivery process or use, extremely good in printing register, having excellent quality, manufactured by one process and low in production cost. SOLUTION: A pattern is provided on a base material 1 by a varnish layer 2 having liquid repellency and a ultraviolet curing type gloss varnish layer 3 is provided at least on the range containing the varnish layer 2 of the pattern.
