<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent slippage of the back when raising a back bottom and prevent compression to the abdomen of a user in a back raising device for a bed. <P>SOLUTION: This back raising mechanism for the bed 1 is aligned with a leg bottom 2, a stationary bottom 3, and the back bottom 4 in a main frame 10, is disposed with, at least, the front/rear movable and swingable back bottom 2 in the side of a head board 11 of the main frame 10, and raises the back by swinging the back bottom 2, while front/rear moving it, using the end of the side of the stationary bottom 3 fixed to the central part in the longitudinal direction of the main frame 10, as a swinging fulcrum 5. The swinging fulcrum 5 of the back bottom comprises a plurality of rollers 51 and 52 as a plurality of swinging fulcrums and this back raising mechanism is provided with a raining/lowering mechanism 8, when the back bottom 2 reaches a predetermined back raising angle, projecting a part 23 of the back bottom from the surface of the back bottom 2 to raise/lower. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
