PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate shortage and to reduce stocks as many as possible while stabilizing a daily production amount in a month.

SOLUTION: A shipping averaging method comprises: calculating a monthly shipping amount (a first shipping amount) in accordance with the minimum value of a daily shipping amount (S13); calculating a monthly shipping amount (a second shipping amount) in accordance with the maximum value of the daily shipping amount (S14); comparing a difference between the first shipping amount and the required monthly shipping amount with a difference between the second shipping amount and the required monthly shipping amount (S15); and employing the lower difference (S16, 17).
