<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a molded coal which permits enhancement of the strengths of the molded coal than before when a waste plastic as an organic compound is recycled as a binder for the molded coal, and to provide a manufacturing method for coke which permits enhancement of qualities of coke manufactured from the molded coal as a raw material using the waste plastic as the binder. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for the molded coal comprises mixing and/or dissolving the waste plastic in a solvent to give a mixed binder, mixing the mixed binder with coal, and pressure-molding the resultant mixture to give the molded coal. Desirably, petroleum tar and/or coal tar are employed as the solvent. Preferably, the molded coal is manufactured by pressure-molding after further mixing the mixed binder and coal with a solid binder. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
