<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a hybrid vehicle capable of preventing overcharge of a battery. <P>SOLUTION: A hybrid vehicle has a transmission input shaft to be connected to a crank shaft of an engine via an input clutch, a front wheel output shaft to be connected to the transmission input shaft via a speed change element, a motor drive shaft to be connected to the front wheel output shaft with a drive motor mounted thereon, and a rear wheel output shaft to be connected to the motor drive shaft via a coupling.
