<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent erroneous detection of a sensor by altering the rotation orbit of a cleaning part, thereby increasing an amount of an agent (e.g., toner) which the cleaning part can stir, and by dispersing the agent staying (accumulating) near the sensor. <P>SOLUTION: The detection face 13a of the T sensor 13 disposed on a casing 5 storing developer such as toner is cleaned with the cleaning part 1 of a first agitating screw 7. In addition, the casing 5 is provided with an orbit alteration part 2. By bringing the orbit alteration part 2 into contact with the cleaning part 1, the orbit of the cleaning part 1 rotating in accordance with the rotation of the first stir screw 7 is altered along the axial direction of the first stir screw 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
