<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an increase in the production cost of an optical head device and to facilitate the assembling work of a diffraction grating and the release work of a fixed condition during the assembling work of the diffraction grating into a housing in the manufacturing step of the optical head device, and to suppress the displacement of the diffraction grating itself caused by a diffraction direction adjusting member during the adjustment of the diffraction direction of the diffraction grating. <P>SOLUTION: A diffraction grating holder holds the diffraction grating for diffracting incident light beams and locks the diffraction grating to the housing. The diffraction grating holder is provided with: a pair of elastic holding plates which elastically holds the surrounding of the diffraction grating along the direction that crosses the optical axis of incident light beams and is locked to the housing at the locking position of the diffraction grating with respect to the housing; and an elastic supporting plate which has an optical path hole for making the incident light beams incident on the diffraction grating, supports a space between the pair of elastic holding plates and elastically presses the diffraction grating from the incident side of the incident light beams at the locking position of the diffraction grating with respect to the housing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
