PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a managing device of an automated storage and retrieval warehouse that does not decrease working efficiency of stocking and delivering, is inexpensive, occupies only small space, and has a few failure factors. SOLUTION: The managing device of the automated storage and retrieval warehouse manages the stocking and delivering of articles from each shelf of the automated storage and retrieval warehouse. The automated storage and retrieval warehouse comprises a rack having shelves of a plurality of rows and a plurality of stages, a plurality of stacker cranes that travel in the passage between two rows of racks and stock and deliver articles from a target shelf, and a stocking and delivering platform of each stacker crane for delivering the articles between a cargo vehicle and the stacker crane. The managing device comprises a calculating means for calculating a moving time required for the cargo vehicle to move to each stocking and delivering platform and a moving time required for each stacker crane to move to the stocking and delivering platform of each stacker crane, and a determining means for determining a stocking and delivering platform as a moving destination of the cargo vehicle based on the moving time required for the cargo vehicle and the stacker crane to move on the stocking and delivering platform.
