PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device that appropriately cools a motor mounted in a vehicle. SOLUTION: ECU executes a program including: a step (S130) in which, if an electric oil pump is not in operating state (NO at S100), it is determined whether the outdoor air temperature is lower than a threshold value T(1); a step (S140) in which, if the outdoor air temperature is equal to or higher than the threshold value T(1) (NO at S130), it is determined whether the motor temperature is lower than a threshold value T(2) (NO at S140); and a step (S150) in which, the motor temperature is equal to or higher than the threshold value T(2), the electric oil pump is actuated.
