FOAMABLE POLYSTYRENE-BASED RESIN PARTICLE, STYRENE-BASED RESIN PRELIMINARY FOAMED PARTICLE AND FOAMED MOLDED ARTICLE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foamable polystyrene-based resin particle capable of obtaining a foamed molded article having mechanical strengths and flexibility jointly at the same time and capable of highly suppressing the breakage by absorbing added outside power effectively.

SOLUTION: The foamable polystyrene-based resin particles are characterized by having≤1,000 ppm amount of a styrene-based monomer based on the total weight of the foamable styrene-based resin particles, and also having≤2,000 ppm total weight of a plasticizing component plasticizing the styrene-based resin and having≥60°C boiling point under 1 atm based on the total weight of the foamable styrene-based resin particles and containing 0.1-4 wt. % isobutane and 3-8 wt. % pentane as foaming agents.
