PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crescent lock for a sash capable of preventing the handle of the crescent from being fully exposed to view even if it is seen from the outside of a room from which part of the handle of the crescent is not protected though an inner shoji and an outer shoji are connected to each other to be fixed by covering a hook section of the crescent on a fixed section of a crescent receiver by providing the crescent to the inner shoji and the crescent receiver on the outer shoji in a sash window. SOLUTION: The crescent receiver of the outer shoji defending against such an action that the handle of the crescent is pushed back with a minus screwdriver or the like by breaking glass from the outside is enlarged to have both the fixed section and a protection cover section together.
