PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that when an information terminal displays the file table of data files stored in the information terminal, the larger the number of files becomes, the longer a time to be spent on the display of the table becomes. SOLUTION: A method for displaying a file list is provided to make a display part 5 display a file name list on the basis of file-related information to be controlled for each file by an OS for the file selected by a user from among a plurality of files stored in a storage part 3. Then, the number of files selected by the user is acquired, and the number of files is compared with a preset threshold, and when the number of files is larger than the threshold value, time information at the time of file preparation is acquired from the file-related information to be controlled by the OS, and when the number of files is not more than the threshold, the time information at the time of starting and ending recording is acquired from each selected file, and each acquired time information is displayed together with the file name.
