PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an eye cap from easily coming off from an eyecup. SOLUTION: The eye cap 10 to be worn on the eyecup 20 of an optical apparatus is constituted by forming an annular recessed part 15 onto which a flanged part 23 of the front end of the eyecup 20 can be fitted at a base surface section 11.
