PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain surely comfortable steering feeling. SOLUTION: A hydraulic power steering device changes a steering assist force according to the operation state of a vehicle speed. In the hydraulic power steering device, a hydraulic control valve 30 controls the hydraulic pressure of the pressurized oil supplied to the hydraulic actuator 20 for generating the steering assist force according to an elastic relative rotation amount of input/output shafts 2, 3 responding to the steering torque. A pressed part 51 which rotates along with the one side of the input/output shafts 2, 3 is constituted so that the pressing force is controlled by the pressing part 52 which rotates along with the other side according to the operation state of the vehicle. The pressed part 51 is constituted of the inside surface relatively facing to the groove, and the both inside surfaces proximate to each other as they go toward the groove center. The pressing part 52 has a rolling bearing 53 and a support member supporting the rolling bearing 53, and the outer periphery of the outer ring of the rolling bearing 53 is pressed to both inside surface of the groove.
