PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core drill superior in easiness-to-use for easily performing chamfering work and cutting work of a spot facing part in a step-down shape around a hole port, when boring a large diameter hole required by the core drill for a boring object such as concrete. SOLUTION: This core drill detachably installs a boring core body 2 in a base body 1 having a shank 5. A spot facing part cutting member 3 having a cutting edge 15 for a spot facing for setting a rotational locus larger than a boring cutting edge 13 of the boring core body, is detachably joined to a joining port part 11 of the boring core body 2.
